Celestial Bodies is your straight-friendly, gay lounge bar in the queerborhood. Join us for daily activities and special events and enjoy one (or several) of our satisfying Playa Cosmo cocktails, or during our sober hours (12 PM – 2 PM).

Come animorph into a party animal. Leave your default skin at the door and undress down into your favoirte animal theamed skivvies while you enjoy a Playa Cosmo.

Underwear Painting

Monday, 8/28 @ 2 PM – 5 PM

Male models needed for underwear painting. Underwear provided, mostly briefs. All sizes/types of men encouraged to inquire. Artist may take 15-20 minutes per canvas. Painting is done in shade of Camp Celestial Bodies. Underwear & design at sole discretion of artist.

This moderated panel will discuss who are those people wrapping themselves in cuddly plush animal attire? Is it just for fun or is there more? Find out when we interview a panel of furry devotees.

Scented Memory – Necklace Workshop

Tuesday, 8/29 @ 12 PM – 2 PM

Create a unique scent with essential oils and add it to a vial necklace. When you want to create a stronger memory, smell your vial to associate it with an event, person or emotion, then smell it again later to recall that memory more vividly. It’s science!

Take the Playa with You – Necklace Workshop

Tuesday, 8/29 @ 12 PM – 2 PM

Bring the playa with you wherever you go! You will make a necklace with a vial to add playa dust from your favorite BRC locale. We’ll have dust from the Man and the Temple, or you can collect a bit of dust from wherever is meaningful for you.

Tutu Tattoo Tuesday

Tuesday, 8/29 @ 2 PM – 5 PM

Let us adorn your gorgeous body with our camp tattoo, while you sit back and enjoy a refreshing cold Playa Cosmos. Come strut your tattoos and tutus for all to admire. And remember no tattoo placement is off limits.
